Yesterday was a total kick to the face. I get bouts of crippling nerve pain since my back surgery back in '06. From being paralyzed from the waist on down for about 2 weeks, some of the nerves didn't come back online like they should have. Because of that the nerves will try to fire and kick in.
I get maybe a handful of these episodes a year or so. Sometimes they are just uncomfortable and other times they leave me in tears, screaming in random bouts of pain and not able to sleep. Yesterday was an in the middle time. It feels like someone is stabbing me in random spots with an hot electrified poker.
At this point nothing helps. I've tried Darvocet, Vicodin, Lortab, a Tens unit, numbing creme and whatever tips and tricks I've found online.
If you're a person that deals with some kind of neuropathy, I legit feel your pain. It sucks. It's hard and it's a fucking struggle. Hang in there.

I really hope that in the next handful of days I feel the reading my new Tarot set.
This week has just been a crap week. Between having the crud, my back going out and just emotional garbage, it's like uughhhh. I keep looking over at them, but I just have no desire to lay out cards. I like shuffling them and looking at them, but to see what they have to say, I just can't.
It's gotta be the mind set I'm in now.
It sucks.

Well, lovely. I'll have to break out the old dinosaur of laptops. Who knew one key would mean a whole new keyboard. Thank jeebus I still have a few months left on the extended warrenty. They'll check everything to make sure it's working the way it should. If not, bam, new innerds.
The sucky thing is a three week turn around. 😐
The old dino should be okay for a bit. It might be a bit sporatic with my ability to do things.

Let me just throw this out there so there isn't any confusion on my feelings about this-
If you are a person that is constantly involved in conflict/drama, isn't truthful or has a habit of toeing the line of TOS themselves, don't report things to me because you *think* you can get someone in trouble because you're bent at them.
I am so over that garbage. A few days you'll all be kissy-face friends again.
This is going to start being an excellent way to end up on my block list because that's just how much it pisses me off.

It must be amazing to only have to worry about the most trivial shit. The most trivial shit that doesn't have anything to do with anything once you go and find something else to do. To be able just to sit and let your mind spiral out of control to the point of thinking everything is about you or that the most stupidest shit in the world is just the end all be all. To just constantly be worried about what someone else is doing for more than, and I'm being generous with this time, 10 minutes. To spend the time to plot, plan, cheat, screw people over and etc. and not worry about the consequences of it all.
It's not the type of person I am, at least not since I've had a reality check, but I wonder what it would be like. I have to worry about taking care of a home, bills, food, my health (both physical and mental), my father's health (esophagus cancer is in remission, but there are still appointments for checkups) , taking care of a pet, cooking, functioning (being handicapped and having to rethink the way you do things is a constant struggle) and just attempting to be in a place mentally I am happy with.
I just don't get it. I really don't.

w00t! I got my Santa Muerte Tarot deck! This deck is really, really amazing. Images was spot on with her opinion of it. The guidebook is the best I've ever gotten in a 'deck set'. The art is beautiful and the scenes are just so detailed.
I'm super impressed. I can't wait to use them.
